SLOPESTYLE THE SLOPESTYLE PARK HAS NOW RE-OPENED FOLLOWING REPAIR WORK AFTER RECENT STORM WEATHER PLEASE NOTE, THAT LIKE MOST DIRT JUMPS TRAILS, THE SLOPESTYLE PARK WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO RIDE DURING RAINY WEATHER AS IT RUINS THE JUMPS AND BECOMES TOO SOGGY TO RIDE IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF ITS RAINING AT ESHER BEFORE YOU TRAVEL OVER, GET IN CONTACT WITH THE SHOP AND ASK THEM A quick health & safety note: 1) All riders MUST have working front and rear brakes to use the slopestyle park - the reason for this is that riders are often tempted to go into the Shore park when at Esher, and its mandatory to have working front and rear brakes for the Shore park When we ran the DJ park at Esher we would always find DJ riders sessioning the Shore park and there were some bad accidents involving riders with only back brakes not being able to stop on the steeps and run-outs of the big jumps at the bottom
2) all riders must have a helmet, gloves and knee/shin guards to use the slopestyle park - the same health & safety requirements that are used in the Shore park are used in the Slopestyle park - with timber stunts in the SS park you must have protection on your knees and shins We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to riders (especially DJ riders), but we take safety very seriously and need to make sure riders are meeting the conditions that our insurers and the H&SE demand if you don't have knee and shin guards you can get these in the Freeborn shop next to the trails at a discounted price using your Esher membership - and if you need a front brake let the shop know and they can get a mechanical or hydraulic disc brake, or v-brake in stock for you....
